Falafel Loaf

This is a spin using Casbah Falafel mix. Try something different with this wonderful product by making a falafel loaf. Great to serve as a main course, or as a side with salads and soups. The loaf stands alone as Vegan friendly.

Falafel Loaf:

  • 1 box of Casbah Falafel mix

  • 1 cup of Grated carrots

  • 1/3 cup of diced tomatoes

  • 5 Tomato slices

  • ¾ cup of water

  • 2 tbsp of Olive oil

  • 1 tbsp of baking soda


  • Dollop of Tzatziki or Yogurt

  • Cilantro, Dill or Green Onions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix Casbah falafel mix , water and olive oil until smooth. Add grated carrot and diced tomatoes to the mixture. Spread evenly in an oiled baking dish. Add Tomato slices on top for deco and taste.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until brown. Test with a fork or a toothpick in the middle to make sure it is cooked thoroughly throughout. When ready, take out of the oven to cool.

Recommended to serve as a main course with a salad or side; also great sliced like bread to serve with soups. Add a dollop of yogurt or tzatziki for a nice combination of flavor and texture. Enjoy!
