Hummus has become a quintessential staple in my diet. It has great nutritional value with 19 grams of protein and 17 grams of fibre in 1/2 of a cup. It can be mixed with many different flavors to give it a spin. This recipe with tomatoes and red peppers is a nice flavor combination.
1 ½ cup of chickpeas
1/3 cup of diced tomatoes
1/3 cup of red pepper
1/3 cup of olive oil
1 cube of organic veggie bouillon
To make the tortilla dippers-cut tortillas into your desired shape; consider making them a good shape for dipping.
Drizzle them with olive oil and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. When done let cool and they are ready to serve.
Take the ingredients chickpeas, diced tomatoes, red pepper, olive oil and I cube of veggie bouillon and put them in a blender and blend until smooth. Fold the dip into a serving bowl.
Place the tortilla dippers around the dip for a beautiful presentation. Enjoy!
